Gentlemen: I have a question re: the photos of VAH-3s A3Ds with a Lighting Bolton the foward side of the fuselage.
What is the color??
The photos were taken by Paul Minert and Rich Dann
The lightning bolt was day-glo orange. If you go to to teh VAH-3 section and find the color photo of a A3D-1 of VAH-7 and a A3D-1 of VAH-3 flying in formation you´ll can see that the lightning bolt is Dat-glo orange.
I like your presentation of VAH aircraft, Then there was the P2 V “HEAVY ATTACK” Squadron, VAH 21,
HEAVY ATTACK GUNSHIP SQUADRON of Viet Nam
oops… couple are missing!
VAH-11 and VAH-11 det 8 (operated as separate squadron) Checkertails.
What up??
Waoouuh !
What a great site for a belgian USN oldies fan.
And what a lot of informations.
A4 and A7 pics are especialy beautifull.
May I pick up a few to complete my collection ?
Good job and congratulations,
Pol.
