Don’t see the 3rd one off to the left. This was just after I left the Navy in December of 76

You are right ! RVAH-12 flew with the AG tailcode on two seperate deployments, but had the modex number 61x on the last deployment (6xx on the first). The dates have been changed. Thanks for the heads up !

I have to disagree with Bill, sorry shipmate, these are older aircraft and the Bruno numbers are not from the time period we were “Turning and Burning” We never had a plane that started with 14XXXX only 15XXXX

I served in RVAH 7 from July 67 through August 69. Advanced from ADJ 2 To ADJ 1. I was asked by the XO, Cdr Barnes if I would go flying with him. I sais,”No” the back window is too small. The next day he put one in a spin and smeared it over a swamp. Wish I had said yes now. I could have ridden the seat out. It cost him his wings and command. Wonder where he is?

The H-7 aircraft in the third picture is probably from the ‘73-’74 WestPac cruise in Kitty Hawk (November Hotel). I believe the tail design was created by Lt. Eben E. Barnett II (deceased)

    Hi Woody

Thanks for the help ! I think you might be right…however, my files tells me that the modex number of RVAH-7 on that deployment was 60x…having said that, my files have been known to be wrong from time till time. The paint scheme was the exact same as what RVAH-7 had on the following deployment aboard USS Forrestal (05Mar1975 - 22Sep1975) so I think i´ll put thei sphoto down as being from the 73-74 deployemnt, as you suggested !

    Thanks for your help !!!

Your files are correct. The modex number on both the west pac and the med cruises was 60X.
Now I am confused!! I made both those cruises in Heavenly 7.
