I would like to know why you don’t show that the squadron was in Chu Lai in March of 1969 until you left for Japan? I transpacted with you during that time from El Toro, Ca. I know that you did not stay very long, but it still should be in your history.

Does anyone have any color photo’s of a VMF-333 F-8C Crusader circa 1963 from MCAS Beaufort, S.C.?

If so can you post them here as well?

I am trying to build a model of one and trying to get the paint scheme from black&white photo’s is difficult. Especially the tail cap.

    Please advise.

Great site!! I have drawn sketches of each of the USMC F-4 squadrons from the 60’s through the 80’s at my Website. Being raised on the MAG 11 flightline. These pics are a great memory of a great era of Marine Corps aviation history.

I have tried several times at the accident site for the F8-U, that lists accidents, dates, details, and pilot. My Pensacola roommate was killed in March 1964, but have no details at the site………….I have details. Thanks.
